The collection contains production material, including manuscript and illustrative material for six titles published between 1968 and 1970, and for one unpublished manuscript written ca. 1955. Manuscript materials include typescripts, corrected typescripts (one with additional pages,one with front matter), typescript carbons, galley proofs, correspondence, a promotional flyer for C D B!, a corrected photocopy of a holograph for a film, copyright certificates, contracts, and reviews. Also included is a typescript of an unpublished story featuring Poor Pitiful Pearl, and a copy of the Reader's Digest reprint of C D B! Illustrative materials include sketches, studies, and illustrations done in a several media, proof dummy, illustrations proofs, a jacket proof.
